Hi Heather, I just wanted to say 'thank you' for planning such a a wonderful trip for us. All the organisation, timings, trips, hotels etc worked out perfectly. Everyone who took us places was extremely friendly. The tours we took and the places we went were wonderful, intersting and FUN and we had the best time as a family having a great adventure together. Thank you

Dear Heather, Juan and I had a lovely time in Jasper. The hotel met our expectations completely. Actually, the room was quite large and the view was spectacular, so that was a bonus. The train ride was a great experience. The only hiccup was that we were booked in separate cars on the train to Jasper. If I had been told that beforehand I would of changed it. Thank goodness the train was not full, and I was able to change it to an upper birth above Juan. The train back, we were across from each other in lower births and that was perfect. Our excursions were quite nice. The dog sledding was the best, the ice canyon walk came in a close second and the wildlife tour came in third on our list. Juan fell in love with Jasper, and the scenery of course is beyond words...just breathtaking. Overall your planning was right on target and it made for a carefree vacation. We did not have to worry about anything. Thank you again for everything Kind Regards,

Hi Jennifer, just wanted to let you know we had a great time and thank you for arranging it all for us....it was awesome...especially the Ice canyon walk at night.....also we really LOVED the Residence Inn....it is the best for travellers/business people....we really enjoyed our stay there and it was great value!!!! One hitch was the people from West Coast tours didn't have any record of our tour...it was not a big deal...I think it was Vancouver tours we ended up going with.....the guide was great and we really enjoyed it....and Errol from west coast picked us up and took us to train station........it just meant we were running a bit late........other wise it was perfect....... Oh well we are off to San Fran now for a couple of days.....the weather in Calgary is -47....so we will be glad to leave it behind........loved Vancouver.....if you ever get to Perth let us know would love to meet you...take care

Thank you very much for the refund. Yes it all worked extremely well and was most enjoyable. The VIA rail journey was a highpoint. It started inauspiciously with somewhat yesterdays rail station, rather pedantic passenger processing and top of the range MacDonalds, if hungry. The train ground thru endless stockyards at snail pace and many stops. But it picked up its skirts, the dinner was very good, the bed comfortable, Mt Robson in view, we started overtaking freight trains on dual sections and arrived on time in bright sunshine. The 2 guides you arranged thereafter were excellent. The Fairmont Jasper was empty and food was served in a windowles area. We had a cabin without view. But we walked right round the lake and found wildlife. The trip to Banff was wonderful and Sara went on the ice machine over the glacier. Rimstock was unexciting, and nearly empty. So we walked into town, had an excellent meal and the following morning went up the Gondola and thoughourly enjoyed seeing and reading about the "weather man" The drive to the airport was efficient. We should like to come again when the flowers are out but have to say that we would probably stay down market. There was a cabin area complex close to Jasper fairmont which looked good but shut at present. Be in touch and again many thanks,

Dear Chris; The trip was fabulous! We had such a wonderful time, and everything was so well planned, and went very smoothly. I would like to know what it would cost for two seniors, my parents, to do the same trip. Please send me a quote. My Dad is 83, and Mum is 76, and they are both in excellent health, and Dad has never been on a train!!! The Via Rail employees were very accomodating and the food was very good as well. What a memory for all my children! Thankyou for all your help, and I understand you are a new father...take your son or daughter on this trip for sure, when he/she is old enough to appreciate it. Congratulations! Was it a boy or a girl? I'll look forward to the quote for my parents. They live near London, Ontario. Sincerely,

Just as a side note, may I compliment you on your organisation and particularly your team in Heather and Anya. Having spent my life in the Hotel business and as such had a long relationship with the Travel Industry, the way I have been made to feel as if I am the only customer you have, is a credit to you ...it is all about service and you give it. Having travelled a great deal (being fortunate enough to work for Orient-Express I have been spoilt!), I am often disappointed with the lack of service or more importantly the failure to meet expectations ...they over sell the sizzle !! Apart from being prompt and efficient and personal, I have found an honesty in dealing with your team that gives me confidence that we really are going to have a great vacation ...and this we are looking forward to. Thank you again. Regards

We loved the hotels and the VIA Rail's Canadian Train, including the tours and the transfer from Banff to Jasper with Joel, a very polite young guide. Our trip was very pleasant and unforgettable! Thanks Chris, we had an excellent time. The hotels were great...really enjoyed the Fairmont Banff Springs. The only thing I would probably change was the time spent in Jasper was too short. The train got in late, just made the Malign Valley Tour and then whisked off early the next morning. Probably would have stayed an extra day there in hindsight. We thoroughly enjoyed it though and have already recommended it to others.

Hi Jennifer We had a fabulous time. One of the purposes was to see Canada in the snow. Well we certainly got our share. The entire country was blanketed in white from the B.C. mountains to Quebec. And, of course, we got an extra day of vacation thanks to the big snowstorm in Montreal cancelling our flight for a day. We just loved it - snow falling through the night and day made for a very romantic scene and brought back many memories of snow storms through the night for both of us "Midwesterners." The accommodations were first rate throughout the trip. Using the Fairmont Hotels is a good choice. We were treated royally in each facility. Several years ago we took a train trip acrossthe U.S. on Amtrak and were very disappointed by our experience. Mostly the bad attitude of the service staff. Well, the VIA Rail really puts Amtrak to sahme. We were treated better by the train staff than the hotel staff. (This is big compliment to both.) We really enjoy our four days on the trains. The romance suite was very comfortable and made for cozy nights. The attendants throughout the trip - Greg to Jasper, Alan to Winnepeg and Scarlett to Toronto were wonderful. Tell anyone from the U.S that they will definitely enjoy the train across Canada. We certainly did. Thanks to you and you staff for arranging, effortlessly for us, this wonderfu vacation. You did a great job for us.

Hi Chris, I can't thank you enough. The trip was fantastic! Everything was perfect. The Via cabins were near each other, the attendant's cabin and the dining car. The attendant moved dad from car to car and wouldn't take no for an answer....very attentive service. Food was very good. I won't even mention the view through the Rockies...Wow! Vancouver was great and the location of the hotel was within a ten dollar cab ride for almost everything we wanted to see. The only regret was not being able to stay in Jasper, so it looks like we will have to do this again! It is quite likely you'll hear from me again in the spring. I would like to take the kids to the west with a stopover in Jasper for a few days. If you have any specials regarding children please let me know. This was a trip of a lifetime (literally) for my dad, my sister and I. Thank you so much.

Hi Jennifer. Thanks for the email. Had thought I would reply when I returned home and only half way onto my round world vacation but a bit of time now so will feedback while the memories are still fresh. We had a great time on the trip. Love the fact that it was so self-directed and being off-peak had a lot of advantages for us. No long queues and still a very comfortable and pretty time of year. Accommodation in Banff was fantastic. Thoroughly enjoyed the tours that were included. High marks on both. Thanks again for everything. I would happily book through you again if the opportunity arose.

Hello Jennifer, I am finally catching up on my emails. We had a wonderful time on our honeymoon. The train trip was everything we hoped it would be and more. We really appreciate you booking our sleeper car with the extra room too! The train was a lot of fun and the food was excellent. We met several nice couples from England and Canada. The scenery was spectacular and the weather was perfect. The Fairmont hotels were extremely comfortable and very service oriented. They made us feel very special. We didn't see a lot of wildlife but we did see a beautiful bull elk on our last morning in Jasper and got some great pictures. Thank you so much for planning such an incredible honeymoon for us. We included one of our pictures from Jasper on our Christmas card this year and everyone couldn't believe how beautiful the mountains were. We hope some day to take another train trip and can't wait to return to Canada. We hope you had a great Christmas and we wish you the very best in the New Year.

Hi there Jennifer. Sorry it has taken so long to get back to you. Our trip was great. Thanks so much. The places you got us into were wonderful. What an experience. It was our own holiday but yet the guesswork was taken out of it which was great. Kudos to all the places we were guests of. The hotel in Montreal was fantastic. They couldn't do enough for us. I have two requests from you if I may. The first is how to obtain a wine that Kieron and I enjoyed on the train to Halifax. We have tried Via and the winery but they just gave us a list of wines. The wine was a Domaine de Grand Pré. It was a white wine that was served for the wine tasting and was only available in Nova Scotia. Do you think you might be able to find out what wines were served for this event. Also, at the Fairmont in Montreal, I had this wonderful tea-An herb and fruit tea called "Kea lani Orange Pineapple." The package only says Fairmont Hotel and Resorts and soes not list the manufacturer. Could you find out if I can order some of this tea from them please. I was able to order some tea from Mighty Leaf which we had at the Auberge St. Gabriel. A wonderful place to eat by the way. Anyway, I will let you go but thanks again for a wonderful vacation. Our next will be by train to the Rockies. Do not know when though. Looking forward to any help that you can give me on the above items. take care.

Hi Jennifer, Thanks so much. I had a wonderful vacation!! The Rocky Mountaineer train trip exceeded my expectations. The weather was perfect and timing couldn't have been better...fall colors, snow capped mountain peaks and beautiful sunshine. The weather in Banff and Lake Louise was perfect - no ice yet and the rivers and lakes were a beautiful blue color. I saw one bear, one elk, and one eagle on the trip. We laughed as some of the passengers in my car mistook cows for bears! I was quite impressed by the service you provided and I will highly recommend your company and the itinerary. As a matter of fact, I've already sent the link to a co-worker. All in all, it was a perfect vacation. It was a great one to take travelling alone, as I was with a group of people most of the time, Canada is safe, and Canadians are oh so friendly! Everything was well organized and went very smoothly. The hotel in Vancouver was great. Thanks so much for all your help. Again, I was very impressed with Exclusively Canada and I'll be happy to recommend it often. Looking forward to my next trip. I'm sure I will take the train again - it truly was a highlight. Regards,

Hello Jennifer, I am back from the Maritimes and just wanted to update you on the trip. It was outstanding: Ambassatours is an excellent company. Their personnel, Donna Williams, tour director, and Jack Bernier, tour driver, provided us with services way beyond what we had a right to expect. The other members of the tour group were extremely nice people and we all got along famously. There was not one among them that I would have changed. We were always upbeat and never late for departure times. The weather except for two days was perfect. Unfortunately, there was fog and rain for our trip to the Cabot Trail and to Louisbourg, but that is out of everyone's control. I would definitely use your company and you to arrange any future travel plans for me. Thank you for arranging a great vacation.

Thank you!!!! We had a wonderful time. Everything was beyond our dreams. The hotels were castles and our rooms were the best. The last few nights we stayed in the Royal suite the the Queen stayed in. We enjoyed the whole trip. Loved Halifax and the Rockies. The VIA train was a wonderful experience, with great food and views. Did a lot of hiking and city walking. Beautiful country with allot of history. Picked up a Blue Jay's game in Toronto. Can't say enough about it. Waiting for our pictures to come back on a DVD. If you would like I can send you one. Dear Chris, My apologies for the delay in sending you my thoughts on the truly marvelous trip you arranged for me. TWO groups of unexpected guests decided to visit, staying much longer than one would have wished, but we've been blessed with such glorious weather these past weeks that it was no surprise. First of all, I have told so many people about my travels, Exclusively Canada and you, giving them contact information, copies of my itinerary and other literature that I'd be surprised if you didn't hear from some folks, including my daughter and her husband (who are considering the trip for next summer). As you know, I traveled alone, which may have seemed brave to some and foolish to others, but it worked out beautifully as I was 'adopted' by several groups, couples and individuals -- never feeling lonely but coming away with some new e-mail addresses and photos from as far away as Liverpool, Wales, St. Helena, Australia, Virginia and a small town in California from which a Sunday School group was traveling and taught me a game played with dice (tsk, tsk, tsk. I won). ``` Also some Canadians, a family from Germany and two guys from Switzerland, both of whom were employed by railroad companies there. The food aboard the ViaRail part (from Toronto to Jasper) was simply delicious, with ample choice and ample portions, and snacks were always available. At every place I ventured throughout your country, I was met with friendliness, more helpfulness than expected (even from a young man selling film in Vancouver) and a relaxed, welcoming environment. You live in a wonderful city.

Hi Jennifer, I got an email from the Verhagen's this week regarding their Canadian Vacation. I have to let you know that the trip just prior to this one was on a Crystal Cruise in the Mediterranean, so realize that he's not really comparing Apples to Apples here...just letting me know that his cruise was still a favorite vacation trip of theirs. Tom did pick this trip though...he wanted the experience of a "train trip" so please don't take his comments as criticism...just input for me on their experience this time...and his looking forward to next time. His comments about arrangments at the end were actually high accolades from a well traveled guy....and it does sound like he wants to go back to Canada again...perhaps next autumn. I hope we can talk again then, perhaps even sooner! Your service and attention to detail has impressed me, and your commission check was received by our accounting department. Thanks for your partnership with travel agents! Jean Barnes, CTC Heart of the Valley Travel -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jean; Personally., I would rather cruise with CRYSTAL again than take another train trip. The train stopped too often, and the scenery was just OK. Meals, while presented nicely, were more like airplane quality than fine dinning. In summary, the train trip was fun, as it was our 1st time in a pullman, but I'm in no hurry to do so again. We loved Toronto. Montreal was too broken up as went to Quebec early on the second day, then toured Montreal the next morning, leaving little time to enjoy Montreal. Quebec should really be a separate stop on the train trip rather than a bus ride from Montreal. As to the tour company, arrangements were flawless. Nice accommodations, tickets were there, buses and drivers turned up as planned, so I give them high marks except for the above mentioned squeezing in of the Quebec portion. We loved our car tour. Will return to Cape Breton either by car or plane. Choe, Tom

Chris, We had a great time! Should have taken 2 weeks instead of one. Lot to see and do in a short time. With that said, we thoroughly enjoyed the package you put together for us. The hotels were great and their location to the train station made it easy to get to and from the hotels. Being handicapped less walking was a good thing. The train was very good except the private room was too small. The small room was not expected and took us by surprise. AMTRACK rooms are very roomy compared to VIA Rail. We liked the tours because I did not have to do too much walking. There were some sights we would have liked to get out and explore but with these type tours and time restrictions we could not. Not a negative, just a lot to see in a short time. We loved the Quebec City tour. The eastern part of Canada was very nice with very nice people, lot more people than we anticipated, but overall a great region to visit. The bottom line, a Great Vacation! Thank you for all your planning and help to make it a experience that we will remember for some time come.

With your thorough planning and excellent collection of things to do and see...it would be difficult for any of your clientele to have anything but a great adventure. Yes, I say "adventure" because all traveling (especially to new places) involves a bit of mystery and the unexpected. And we were not disappointed. For us, the "unexpected" was the level of commitment you and your team had shown by piecing together a quality rail package to show us some of the best of Canada. Kudos to you all. Hi Jennifer, Our journey back home was safe. We were back to work a day after we arrived, and busy as before, there's no time to linger or daydream about the wonderful trip we had. We are honestly sorry to take sometime to send you the great details & feedback. For your record we did have a wonderful & memorable holiday. Everything planned went tru smoothly, no slightest hick-ups. all the hotels were nice and of good location, we enjoyed ourselves tremendously at CN Tower with that magnificent view of Toronto while having lunch, & John our city tour coach driver/guide from the Toronto Tours, shared many interesting info & insight on this city, & of course the shopping we did at SEARS on other times !! The infrastructure of the city is really brilliant, now we know how Torontorians hibernate during winter ie to go underground!! for shopping & stuff. The train ride from Toronto - Niagara Falls - Kingston was without incident. Via Rail staff were helpful & friendly. It left us with good impression on their service that we think perhaps we might go for rail tour next time we visit Canada. Our stay in Sheraton Falls View in Niagara Falls was splendid bcoz we could view from the TV in our room of the falls & the weather in real time.! Overall we like the time spent in Niagara Falls/N-O-T-L it's really beautiful & we loved the boat ride on the maid of the mist. It was fun & exhilarating bcos it was not cold even when we were drenched wet!! superb. Barry, personnel from Niagara Air Bus was funny, patient & helpful. He took good care of these 2 girls from Singapore. After dinner at Shaw restaurant he sent us back to our hotel (even it's not part of the itinerary) bcos it was raining & he knew we were tired. excellent service. The winery tour was an eye opening, we learnt how the famous Inniskillin icewine were produced first hand. Kingston was a stunning town on its own. The Radisson hotel on the harbourfront was really unique with nice view of the marina. We also had a good time on the lunch cruise with that 'smashing' gospel band!! on board. Oh! not the least, The Haunted walking tour was 'safe', with more children than adult, it was kinda eerily funny (we think) but it was interesting to know there's so many haunted property in Kingston! So, we were happy that our holiday turned out superb!(minus the time when we have to go out of the hotel for a smoke ; all hotels were 100% smoke free?) Thank you Jennifer for your excellent job. We will not hesitate to consider you for our next trip to Canada. Keep up you excellent service! Lastly, we hope to do it again. Hi Chris, Thanks again. The accomodations were great. We loved the Deer Lodge, and are much happier we stayed there than at the Chateau Lake Louise. Deer Lodge had a lovely restaurant and roof top hot tub with spectacular views of the mountain. We did splurge for dinner at one of the Chateau's restaurants and it was a nice treat. Deer Lodge was our favorite hotel but I think we enjoyed hiking in Jasper and Yoho the best. The Hotel in Banff and Jasper were nice too especially because the locations were so close to the town that we walked every night to dinner (twice to the Jasper brew pub!) . The train was nothing but endless indulgements- meals were first class and excellent hosts and hostesses and spectacular vistas. Vancouver was a great way to conclude our 8 days of hiking and biking. I think we spent a small fortune on meals and drinks, especially with the 10% liquor tax on top of the gst and pst which I was a bit of a surprise. The Marriott was perfect and again great location for walking around the city. Ahh, now I thought of one disappointment... the coffee at the Marriott was horid, but hardly worth complaining about when the otherwise tasty breakfast was FREE, eh? As you can see, I hope we make it back to Canada soon as we had a lovely time. Thanks again,

Dear Chris, I had planned to send you a spontaneous email to thank you for all your attention to our needs in planning the trip into the Rockies. In fact, I plan to send a letter to the higher-ups to commend all the staff for the wonderfully attentive care we experienced from beginning to end. I am telling everyone that I fell in love with Canadians, as well as Canada itself! We were delighted with our trip, but especially the leg from Vancouver to Lake Louise. The train itself is "a cruise with spectacular views." All details exceeded our wishes, including the "patter" of the onboard attendants that molded the individual clusters of people into a cohesive group. We especially liked being invited to join other pairs at tables in the dining room, allowing mixing that might not have been as easily accomplished without that device. The highlight for us was Lake Louise. We could have stayed there for a few extra days. The nature walk/talk will stay with me a long time. The hotel was the best of all, and I would have loved more time to explore. It was magical. I will take my husband back there, too. And the trip up through the Columbia Icefield and the Athabasca Glacier enchanted us. We had a cute and informative French Canadian driver up to the glacier who we all loved. All of your advice was graciously and patiently offered. Our whole experience was made comfortable and seamless, from the moment I called you through our return. I can't thank you enough. I hope these comments help you and that the mention of little lacks in our experience can give you information to make your job easier in advising ot

Chris, You probably have received Emmett's email by now, so I will have to say that "we second that motion." That trip was fabulous. My husband (who just retired) said that he knew the Rockies would be beautiful but it was even more beautiful than he expected. All of the Rocky Mountaineer personnel, from the bus drivers to the train attendants, were fantastic and quite humorous. I took a few pics(about 700) so I am anxious to view them tonight on the computer to see how they look full size. Victoria itself was lovely. Rob and I did the museum, had lunch at Barb's Fish & Chips on Fisherman's Wharf, did a tour of the Parliment building, walked through the Empress Hotel and then had tea at the James Bay Tea Company. A great day. Met so many interesting individuals who were part of our various groups. There are several couples we intend to stay in touch with. Thanks for all your help and patience with our trip. I have already informed everyone at work that they should take the trip so you may be hearing from some of our friends in the next year.

Hi Jennifer, Thanks very much for your messages and apologies for the delay in responding (we've been back in the UK for the last couple of weeks). We had a fantastic time in the Rockies and really enjoyed the trip. We managed to do lots of hiking, the walking around Lake Louise in particular was excellent and we felt that we saw a lot of places but without having to rush between them, so the timing was pretty much perfect. On the hotels, we thought the Post Hotel in Lake Louise was by far the best - the service there was superb and they did lots of extra things like lending DVDs to guests (free of charge) which we liked after a hard days hiking. We also liked the fact that the hotel was in the village and enjoyed the pleasant walk from there to the Lake. The Buffalo Mountain Lodge was also good, although we had a few problems with our fire(!) - the staff were friendly and the restaurant was very good - we also liked the fact that it was within easy walking distance of Banff itself. We were a lot less impressed with the Jasper Park Lodge (and have contacted them about a number of things that we weren't happy with....) We felt that it was very impersonal and if we return to Jasper we'd want to stay somewhere else I think. In comparison, if we go back to Lake Louise (which we fully intend to) we'd definitely stay at the Post Hotel again. We enjoyed the Rocky Mountaineer very much - the scenery was superb and we were extremely well looked after. The service was faultless throughout. Kamloops seemed like a funny kind of place but it was interesting to see and we found a decent curry house there so although we wouldn't rush back it was a successful visit! We also enjoyed Vancouver very much and the Griffin Transportation pick-ups worked really well. Anyway, we had a great time and everything went very much to plan so thanks very much for all your help. Hope these comments are useful..... Thanks and Regards

Good Afternoon Heather: Thank you for your email inquiring about our vacation. We had a wonderful time, and we thank you very much for making all the arrangements for us. Every one of your appointments and reservations worked out perfectly with only minor hitches. In Vancouver, the gold floor was closed, but the hotel provided us with a wonderful suite in lieu of the original reservation; in addition, they gave us a dining credit, which we used with great pleasure. All the other reservations were just as arranged, and we loved the stays at the three Fairmonts in the National Parks. The train ride was a definite highlight. Our double room was very special, as was the wine and chocolates. The train was late leaving Kamloops, so we were able to go through the entire section of the Rockies in daylight, with fresh snow on the trees to make it even more impressive! One detail I should pass on is that when we arrived at Lake Louise and Banff, we were several hours early to check into our roooms, and because the hotels were so busy during the holidays, the waits for rooms was even longer than usual. Perhaps you could change the shuttle times between the hotels to make this part smoother. Only a very minor point that might help with future arrangements. We appreciate the excellent tour you put together for us, and we will certainly think of your company again when we do another similar trip. Sincerely,

Hi Chris -- the trip was great. We were very happy with it. In a snapshot: -- hotels were very good -- we liked the overnight train -- only thing was the single cabin was not comfortable for my 90 year-old father. Had we known the single was so small, we would have booked a double for him -- it would have been worth the price. We were happy with the double. -- meals on the train were very good -- the two tours were surprisingly good (Jasper wilderness, and trip between Jasper and Banff). For some reason, I missed the fact that these were private tours, so we were pleasantly surprised to see a mini-van pull up rather than a big bus. The guides were very personable and knowledgeable. The drive between Jasper and Banff was truly gorgeous. Other than the size of the single cabin on the train, the trip went without a hitch and we were delighted with it. Thanks again for your help on this.

Hi Jennifer - I just read your message and I was just talking to my parents again the other night about how great their trip was. To give you some details, they both were extremely pleased with the trip in its entirety. The level of service they received - from everyone - was more than they expected. They especially appreciated the "door-to-door" nature of the accommodations and transportation. They said that everywhere they went people were friendly and truly available to help them. They especially loved the train trip. It was just a bit rainy, but not enough to stop visibility. The service on their car was superb and they said the food was excellent. The woman who was preparing their meals took extra time to interact with them (they both love to talk with people) and she told my dad that she was preparing "special" things for him each meal. A funny thing happened on the train on the second day. My dad needed to take the elevator to get up and down to the dome car. (The elevator was reached by going through the kitchen, which was why they were on a first name basis with the chef.) At one point, my dad was going down to use the restroom. He was accompanied by one of the workers on the train - a young woman - and halfway down the elevator got stuck. Evidently they tried everything to get it going again, including calling the engineer to help, but to no avail. The elevator has no ceiling, so is open to the upper floor, so all the passengers, my mother included, were sitting there watching the two of them. At one point my mom called out "Hey, I've got my eye on you two" which cracked everyone up. Eventually, they somehow got them out, apologizing profusely, and transferred my mom and dad to the next car over which had a working elevator. It made for quite a story and they thought the whole thing was pretty fu nny. Again, they said the train employees couldn't have been more gracious and accommodating. Their time in Banff was great. They really enjoyed the half day tour around Banff and seeing the area. The next day, they took the Columbia Icefields tour and were very happy they had a chance to see that area. When they got up to the icefields, my dad went the whole way down to the SnoCoach then decided "I'm not getting up on that thing!" so they stayed behind in the museum - which was fine with them. Everything else was wonderful. I know my parents tremendously appreciated the opportunity to take this trip, and also the work that you put into helping us put it together. I wouldn't be surprised if you get a thank you from them as they were asking about contacting you. I also want to thank you for all your help, prompt responses and information. Due to your efforts, I knew my mom and dad were in good hands, and I had the confidence that this trip was going to be everything they (and we) had hoped. Thanks again and you just may have some of their friends come up to tour with you as they've been talking it up back in Georgia! Best Regards,

Chris. Firstly, I would like to thank you for your tolerance and patience in working with me to put this trip together. We had a GREAT time! We thought both of our travel guides (to whale watching and country tour) were very professional and knowledgable and made the travel a very enjoyable experience. Although the weather was so-so on the Whale trip we saw the whales and had no problems getting there and back. The hotel was great, the staff friendly, and Quebec was the cleanest city I I have EVER seen in my world travels! My research on that Vegetarian restaurant in Quebec turned out to be the best surprise of all and we also found a great Italian place that was very much like home for us in their approach to dining. The A-1 Limo Driver and the car were excellent and from the time we got picked up to start our trip until the time we were picked up to go home we were very pleased. I was very happy in the way this trip turned out and what pleased me even more was in seeing my partner coming away feeling the same................... Again, thank you.

Chris Sue and I had a great time. All the hotels were fantastic, and the food out of this world. The various excurtions were all fascinating with really good guides, we could not have asked for more. It really was a great holiday and a good life experience. We had to visit the zoo at calgary to see the wildlife that we wanted to see as the "bears and moose" were hiding during the holiday. That said we saw a bear crossing a road on route to Lake Louise and a wolf or coyote (sue and I are still argueing as to which) from the train. The horse riding at Banff was especially good as was the sea safari. Thanks to you and your team for organising such a great time for us, we intend to return to Canada and will no doubt contact your company again as it was so good this time. We are recommending our friends and families to go to Canada using your company.

Hello Chris, Sorry for the delay in response to your email. We had a wonderful trip! The Rocky Mountaineer was the highlight of the vacation! The Canadian rail experience through the Rockies was comparable to our trip on the Glacier Express through the Swiss Alps a couple of years ago. The Rimrock Hotel in Banff was great and we were not disappointed at all with not being able to get into the Fairmont. The Château Lake Louise was wonderful and vistas from our room were simply magnificent. I believe the view of Lake Louise and the mountain backdrops are one of the most beautiful vistas I have ever seen. All the restaurants were great and the dining at the Rimrock being our favorite. So Chris, great job with our Canadian Rocky vacation and thanks for making our Anniversary Trip truly a “once in a lifetime” experience.

Hey Chris! Sorry I haven't responded sooner but when we got back to Texas we hit the ground running. Canada was absolutely wonderful! The Rocky Mountaineer Gold Leaf service was impeccable - we actually ended up in a car that normally seats 72 but was only half full so needless to say it was GREAT! The hotel in Vancouver was OK - the location was great but just wish it had been a little nicer. In Jasper - the Fairmount - when we first got there we were shocked there was no air conditioning. It had been 95F degrees that day and coming from Texas where EVERYTHING and EVERYWHERE is air conditioned it was a shock. But, as soon as the sun went down it cooled off. As soon as we got acclimated to not having air conditioning it was great. We really enjoyed the town itself. Needless to say Lake Louise was beautiful (but again not air conditioned). All in all, the vacation could not have been any better. Thank you so much for all your help and I would definitely recommend you guys to our friends. Thanks again.

Sorry to be so long in answering your email. Dan and I spent a week with my family in Ontario after Churchill and did not have access to the internet. We had a truly fantastic time up with the bears. Everything went smoothly. The Winnipeg hotel was very nice and staying at the Tundra Lodge was an extraordinary experience. We have pix of polar bears that could be in National Geographic! It was well worth the extra cost to stay out on the tundra. The staff at the lodge were wonderful, the talks informative, and the food delicious. It was truly an exceptional, once in a lifetime experience. Thank you for expertise in its arrangement.

Jennifer: I had a chance to speak to my parents last night. They completed their trip on Sunday. From the sounds of their comments, the trip surpassed my best expectations and theirs as well. So thank you for helping us to put this together :) My parents happen to have moved into a financial position to take these sort of trips in the future and I know that they are now motivated to do so based on their experiences on this trip.

Dear Ms. Hill: I am extremely sorry that it took me so long to respond to you. We received your wonderful note and your kind gesture (voucher) at home. Since we came back, I was extremely busy to catch up with many businesses. Also, I was reminiscing and missing Vancouver, Victoria, Butchart Garden, Victoria, the BC ferry and above all ‘Alaska’. I can honestly say that we have really enjoyed our trip to Vancouver, Victoria and Whistler and specially the train ride to Whistler. We had no problem getting to hotel. Raj picked us up at the Vancouver airport. He was very courteous and friendly. The hotel was nice and the location was very convenient. The gentleman who took us to Canada Place for our ship to Alaska was truly a gentleman. We were very impressed with the Whistler Mountaineer train ride, treatment by the attendant and especially with the unbelievable scenery of the mountains and the sea/bay. Truly it was one of the best trips we have ever taken. Above all, we were quite impressed and liked the easy going manner and friendly attitude of the local people. I have talked to my friends about your services and I will pass the voucher to whoever visits to Vancouver. Finally, it was for you and your arrangement we really had a wonderful vacation and for that we thank you wholeheartedly.

Hi Brent Just wanted to let you know everything about our Canada trip was wonderful. With Exclusively Canada handling everything it was so hassle free. All of the accommadations you set up were wonderful and had all our information. We hiked, we toured, we viewed. What I want to thank you most for was the encouragement you gave me to do the Gold Leaf. Wow! Wow! Wow! The food (and drink) was wonderful and the staff outstanding. We loved our crew and in just two short days felt we knew them well. I even went down to the "kitchen" and took a picture of the chefs and they were so friendly and informative. My husband has been telling everyone about the whole trip and how easy you made it. We even grew to love the Inukshuk guy and brought one home. Thank you for a wonderful vacation to remember.

Dear Jennifer, We had a wonderful time, thanks to your attention to the important details for our trip June 11 to 25---we were happy with our Fairmont Toronto and Vancouver accommodations and were impresssed with and very appreciative of the connections. The Griffin Transportation drivers were great. It made for smooth transitions and relieved the stress of finding the way ourselves. The train accommodations were a challenge for us as seniors, especially the top bunk! We thought our room was a bit shabby and the toilet area was extremely tight. We enjoyed seeing the many faces of Canada. The Rockies portion was especially gorgeous and exciting, though we had a noisy slightly inebriated group blocking out the voice of the narrator. A problem with a freight train ahead of us on the tracks caused a delay and we arrived too late for the morning tour in Vancouver, but the staff at the Fairmont got us an afternoon slot, so we didn't miss out at all on the well chosen tours. We enjoyed the Alaskan cruise aboard the Zuiderdam immensely, the crew and staff were friendly, cheerful, and helpful and the ship itself was not only lovely, but comfortable and our room was terrific, with the large glass doors and the verandah. It was great fun and such a beautiful itinerary, the captain went out of his way to take us to an area where whales were cavorting, too. We really liked the Mendenhall Glacier and the Gardens tours, and enjoyed visiting the three towns chosen by the ship. Thank you for your efforts, they are much appreciated and your attention made for a most memorable time.

Hi Brent, Hope this email finds you well. We hope you remember us, you arranged a trip for us to Churchill for beluga watching. We had a lovely time, it was a great experience, Churchill is a wonderful place for lots of reasons, nature, the people, the remoteness. We believe we were the first people of the season with Frontiers North, and the only two. There were a few hicups, a couple of times no-one picked us up or picked us up late. We did speak to the people from Frontiers North at the time, they apologised and orgainised a complimentary meal for us both. We did understand it was early in the season, and it can take a while for the wheels to move smoothly, it didnt spoil our holiday. We have recently rec'd a letter and voucher from your company for trips in the future, for which we thank you, we have visited Canada before Vancouver and Toronto and have very much enjoyed ourselves, besides all the natural beauty you have you also have the wonderful Canadian people, they are friendly and polite, with a good sense of humour, a somewhat English one we think !!!! Thank you once again for your assistance with our holiday plans. When we are planning our next trip to your wonderful country we will be sure to get in touch. Best wishes to you and your staff. Kind Regards

Amy, The flights from Newark-Calgary + Vancouver-Newark were reasonable and comfortable. The car rentals were great. We had a Pontiac minivan to Banff which was perfect for the trip as far as comfort and space for our luggage. In Vancouver we had a ford minivan that was just as good. Banff was excellent. The accommodations, food, views, etc. My son-in-law got a “Dummies” book on Canada and highlighted nearly everything to do around Banff. We went to the ice fields, Crystal Lake, Johnson Craven, Lake Louise, and took a gondola up a mountain. At the Buffalo Mountain Lodge the accommodations with its fire place was perfect. We ended each exhausting day with a steam bath and hot tub. I strongly recommend an appetizer at the lodge. It’s a 7 different local meat dish (Caribou, Buffalo, Elk, etc). I then had a delicious Elk steak. The train ride from Banff–Vancouver was just spectacular. The guide-server was excellent. She would forewarn us of upcoming scenery. She fed us breakfast lunch and snacks as if we were on a “love boat”. Vancouver was Beautiful. We took a gondola up a mountain, walked on a suspended bridge (more like 6 of them) and went to an aquarium. The hotel we stayed at was excellent. Thank you again for a wonderful trip. My grandsons will have memories that will last a lifetime.

They thought everything was great, and were really impressed w/ how well we did planning their trip. I was on vacation when they got back, so it took me several weeks to talk w/them. Tom had surgery mid July and really had a tough time. He is home now, and they are looking forward to planning another trip. Not sure it will include Canada this time, but I will contact you when I have another FIT for Canada. Great to work w/you. Thanks,

Hi, Chris: Mary and I enjoyed our two nights at the Delta Winnipeg, which was a very nice hotel at a very decent rate, and very convenient for our walking tours of the downtown. The Tundra Inn was quite adequate—clean and with a hot shower. It was basic, but certainly what one should expect in a place like Churchill. Dave Reid, the Frontiers North tour guide, was outstanding, and more than helpful in resolving a room problem, and also in rescheduling our return flight. Glenn Hopfner was our Tundra Buggy Driver/Guide, and he was also outstanding (he’s written a book on his experiences). We saw lots of bears during our two days on the Buggy, one, as they say, “up close and personal.” We also saw red fox (on the 1st day bus tour) arctic fox, arctic hare, ptarmigans, many waterfowl and some raptors. The scenery was beautiful, and we saw and learned lots about the area, in addition to the bears. The train ride was an interesting experience, and the food was excellent. The negative was that it was nowhere near the schedule. When you and I talked you indicated it was frequently an hour late, on rare occasions six hours late. Our arrival was. Coupled with boarding at 9:30 PM for an estimated 3 AM departure, this meant we were actually on the train just over 48 hours, arriving in Winnipeg 10PM two days later, 13.5 hours behind schedule. Fortunately we got wind of significant delays before we left Winnipeg, even though direct inquiry of VIA Rail was not at all forthcoming. We were able to change our return flight from Thursday to Friday. Dave Reid handled this for us and United was accommodating in not charging any fees (since we travelled on miles I wasn’t sure this could be done). According to the Bear Season newspaper, the rail line was shut down for 3 days in July, and by August 8 hour delays had become the “new normal.” Message is, don’t book your return flight for train arrival day in Winnipeg. Also, if you did the train up and flight return from Winnipeg, you would miss the first day’s events in Churchill, and many people on other tours did. While these were not nearly as rewarding as the Tundra Buggy, I don’t think train up/fly back would have been nearly as good—given the schedule. Fortunately we were able to book a room at the Quality Inn in Winnipeg for Thursday night, as the Delta and many others were full. As our flight (same as the Downing’s) didn’t depart until nearly 6 PM, we were able to spend the bulk of Friday at the Manitoba Museum, which was extremely worthwhile. We will have some expenses to submit to our insurer for the delay. Dave Reid indicated Frontiers North would send a letter (I suggested e-mail with a PDF attachment) confirming the arrival time in Winnipeg so we have this on the record. Perhaps you could also followup on this. As has been our experience elsewhere in Canada, we found the people universally friendly—whether air, rail, dining, hotel, or museum staff, or sometimes people on the street just trying to be helpful with directions. Thanks for your help with the booking. I hope you find this feedback useful. Regards,

Hi Jennifer We have nothing but great things to report! Thank you so much for all the work you did in putting our trip together. We had a fabulous vacation, there was not one hiccup. Deer Lodge was indeed one of our more memorable stays, we loved it. The train portion again was great and our attendant was superb! Yes we saw wildlife! My cousin and her husband being from England don't see bears as they don't exist in England. However, the gods were with us, we saw a black bear with her two cubs from the train, what a treat! We saw the salmon jumping, the eagles flying and sitting on their perches, mountain sheep you name it we saw it. Thanks for the late arrangement from Vancouver to the Island and Buchart Gardens, again great! The weather held for us for our entire trip. From Karen(my partner), my cousin Sandra, her husband Clive and myself thanks for the superb job in arranging this unforgettable vacation. Without doubt, we would use Exclusively Canada again. Cheers,
