The Rocky Mountaineer® train travels in both eastbound and westbound directions with destinations between the beautiful coastal city of Vancouver, the resort town of Whistler, and Jasper or Banff and Calgary, Alberta.

The History...
Since its inception in 1990, Rocky Mountaineer® earned its place as a luxury rail provider. Headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, the company takes travelers into the most unique regions of Canada year round.

In May 2006, Rocky Mountaineer® unveiled two new Western Canadian rail routes: the Rocky Mountaineer® Fraser Discovery Route, which taps into some rarely seen BC vistas on its way to Whistler and Jasper and the Whistler Mountaineer™ train which whisks vacationers between Vancouver and Whistler daily.

Service Classes & Routes...
Rocky Mountaineer® has four routes within Western Canada. Each route provides luxurious daylight travel within scenic mountainous regions. There are two-day, all-daylight Rocky Mountaineer® train journeys that offer you three different routes showcasing the diverse beauty of Canada's West. On each Rocky Mountaineer® journey, you stay overnight in comfortable accommodations so that you miss none of the spectacular scenery.

We can also assist you with reserving one-way or roundtrip journeys on the Whistler Mountaineer™ between Vancovuer and Whistler.
