Day 1 - Vancouver to Whistler
When you arrive at Vancouver International Airport, your full size rental car will be waiting for you. After a short trip through the city of Vancouver you are on your way to Whistler. The trip along the banks of fjord-like Howe Sound is spectacular. You are surrounded by the snow-capped peaks of the Coastal Range of mountains. After an even more spectacular drive through the rugged Cheakamus Canyon you will arrive in the world renowned ski resort of Whistler.

Day 2 – Golf at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler Golf Course
Whistler has been rated by Golf Digest as “One of the top 20 greatest golf destinations in the world”. With four championship courses situated within minutes of each other the opportunities are almost limitless. Today your tee times are reserved on the Fairmont Chateau Whistler Course, a product of the great Robert Trent Jones JR. Test your skills against the will of the course and breathe in the fresh mountain air. Tonight, enjoy the fine dining, entertainment and shops of the pedestrian only Whistler Village.

Day 3 – Golf at the Whistler Golf Course / Whistler to Vancouver
Today another great course awaits your skills as your tee-off on the Whistler Golf Course. Sculptured by the master himself the course reflects the professionalism, challenge and fun that Arnold Palmer brought to the game. Enjoy a massage or spa treatment in your luxury resort hotel after the game and take some time to check out the various venues that will be a part of the 2010 Winter Olympics which will be jointly hosted by Vancouver and Whistler. Later in the day, drive back to Vancouver for the evening.

Day 4 - Golf at Mayfair Lakes Golf and Country Club / VIA Rail – Vancouver to Jasper
A short drive this morning will take you to the Mayfair Lakes Golf and Country Club. From the first tee you will be impressed with the rugged coastal mountains to the north, the blue Pacific Ocean to the west and the vast delta of the Fraser River to the east. Mayfair Lakes is an 18-hole, 6641 yd course with fast, well-protected greens, lush fairways and distinctive water to ad the excitement of the course. Your tee time has been pre-arranged and a golf cart is included with your green fees.
You may wish to check your luggage at the train station and spend the remaining afternoon exploring Vancouver, before returning your rental car downtown. Tonight, you will travel aboard VIA Rail's 'Canadian', for the beginning of your rail adventure to Jasper. As the train leaves Vancouver, enjoy a fine meal before retiring to the dome car for a glimpse at a Canadian Sunset. Your bedroom will be prepared and welcoming.

Day 5 - Arrive in Jasper / Golf at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge Golf Course
Wake up this morning to the beauty of the Canadian Rockies. The train will pass by the highest mountain in the Canadian Rockies, Mt Robson, before entering the province of Alberta. By mid morning you will arrive in the Jasper National Park and the resort community of Jasper. You will be transferred to the world famous Jasper Park Lodge and Resort where you will enjoy an afternoon tee time on the challenging course that surrounds the resort. The 6663 yard par 71 course is one of the most beautiful golf landscapes in Canada. It was designed in 1928 by famous Scottish golf architect Stanley Thompson and has thrilled golfers with its’ challenging layout and brilliant scenery ever since.

Day 6 - Jasper to Banff including Columbia Icefields
If you decided not to play golf yesterday we will have arranged a morning tee time for your today. Early in the afternoon a private sedan will take you to Banff via the incredible Icefields Highway. Keep and eye open for wildlife along the way including bears, moose, mountain goats, elk and many species of birds. You will have time to stop and enjoy the exciting Ice Explorer ride on the magnificent Athabasca Glacier before proceeding to the alpine resort of Banff.

Day 7 – Golf at the Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Course
Welcome to the alpine resort of Banff! This is the oldest National Park in Canada and perhaps the most famous. Nestled in the valley at the base of the castle-like Banff Springs Hotel is one of the most difficult and most spectacular golf courses in North America. The 27-hole Banff Springs Golf Course was designed in 1927 by the intrepid Stanley Thompson and has been played for decades by golf professionals, celebrities and inspired golfers ever since. The course winds it’s way along the Bow River and is surrounded by the peaks of Mount Rundle and the soaring Sulphur Mountain. It will provide you with one of your great days of golf!

Day 8 - Golf at the Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Course
Another great day of golf awaits you as you take on the challenge of the remaining holes of this masterfully designed 27-hole course. Today you may have your game interrupted by a herd of grazing Elk, a cautious Moose or even and meandering Black Bear.
You may also want to take some time to enjoy this beautiful resort. Enjoy the spa or sip a cocktail while viewing the Bow Valley and the golf course you conquered earlier in the day. Ride the gondola to the top of 7500 ft Sulphur Mountain or enjoy a fine gourmet meal in your hotel.

Day 9 – Banff to Calgary Airport
All too soon your Canadian Rockies Golf experience comes to an end. Your scenic drive to the Calgary International Airport should take about 2-hours.
