Day 2 – Edmonton City Tour
Enjoy this half day tour featuring Edmonton's cultural and heritage sites. Visit the prominent neighborhoods of Historic Glenora and Old Strathcona. Explore downtown Edmonton, its ethnic communities, the Alberta Legislative Building, the University of Alberta and the scenic North Saskatchewan River valley.
After your tour, you may wish to explore the West Edmonton Mall, the world's largest shopping/attraction complex, offering over 800 stores and services. Visit the Las Vegas style Palace Casino, skate at the Ice Palace, play miniature golf at Professor WEM's Adventure Golf, take a submarine ride at the Deep Sea Adventure, or see marine life at the Sea Life Caverns and Sea Trek. Day 3 – VIA Rail - Edmonton to Jasper
This morning, transfer by private sedan to the Edmonton train station and board VIA Rail for your rail journey to the mountain village of Jasper. Upon arrival at the Jasper Train station, transfer (on own) to your hotel.

Day 4 – Jasper to Lake Louise Tour including Columbia Icefield
Enjoy a narrated tour from Jasper through the 'heart' of the Canadian Rockies to Lake Louise along the Icefields Parkway. You will be inspired by rushing waterfalls, crystal-clear rivers, emerald lakes, alpine meadows and snow-capped peaks create an ever-changing montage of mountain wilderness. This tour along the Icefields Parkway takes you through Jasper and Banff National Parks, stopping at the Columbia Icefield. Included in your package is the 'Ice Age Adventure', a tour onto the icy slopes of the Athabasca Glacier. You will travel in a specially designed Ice Explorer to the middle of the glacier, on a 5-kilometre round- trip journey. Your driver-guide will explain how glaciers are formed and point out interesting geological features as you travel in comfort and safety. The trip affords many opportunities to see mountain wildlife and photograph the spectacular views. Late afternoon you will arrive in Lake Louise.

Day 5 - Lake Louise to Banff / Lake Minnewanka Cruise Tour
In the late morning you will have a short motorcoach transfer to the mountain resort town of Banff.
This afternoon your Lake Minnewanka Cruise Tour retraces the journey by Bill & Jim Brewster on their first guided tour from Banff to the historic community of Bankhead. Pass by Stoney Squaw Mountain and the remains of a once vibrant coal mining operation. Relax in a luxury motorcoach while you wind along this mountain road often slowing for mountain goats. Upon arrival at Lake Minnewanka, a 1.5-hour interpretive boat cruise on 50 passenger boats gently voyages the waters of this great lake. Learn about the natural history and native legends that make this setting a landmark.

Day 6 – Day at Leisure / Banff to Jasper Express
Today is at leisure to explore the townsite and visit the many museums, art galleries, & boutiques. You may decide to take an optional sightseeing tour, take a gondola ride to the top of Sulphur Mountain or soak in the Upper Hot Springs. Mid-afternoon transfer aboard the express motorcoach service back to Jasper. You will arrive in Jasper at approximately 8:30pm.

Day 7 & 8 – VIA Rail – Jasper to Toronto
This morning you will have time to explore the town of Jasper or take an optional cruise on Maligne Lake or a rafting trip down the Athabasca River. This afternoon you board VIA Rail’s Canadian for the beginning of your 3-day journey across Canada to Toronto. As dinner is served, relax and enjoy the great scenery and fine hospitality of your Silver and Blue service.

Day 9 – Arrive Toronto
The scenery changes dramatically as the Canadian makes its way into the province of Ontario. Vast forests, remote mining communities, and surging rivers and lakes are abundant. Soon the stunning skyline of Canada’s largest city, Toronto looms on the horizon. The world famous CN Tower welcomes you and your fellow travelers. Your train will arrive in Toronto at approximately 8:00 pm. Pick-up your luggage and transfer (on own) to your hotel for check-in.

Day 10 - Toronto and Niagara Falls
Today you will be taken on a narrated day tour to Niagara Falls. You will enjoy a boat ride on the “Maid of the Mist" to the foot of the falls for a spectacular, close up view. Lunch is also included in today's tour. Before returning to Toronto, the tour will pass through the charming 19th century town of Niagara-on-the-Lake.
Note: The Journey Behind the Falls or the Imax Theatre is substituted if the Maid of the Mist is not operating.
