Day 1 - Arrive Kelowna
When you arrive in Kelowna, pick up your full-size rental car and take a few minutes to explore this exciting resort community. Kelowna is one of the fastest growing communities in Canada and sits on the lakeshore of beautiful Okanagan Lake. After a tour of the city, head towards the lakeshore where your luxurious resort accommodation for the next 3 nights awaits your arrival.

Days 2 & 3 – Kelowna Golfing
This is what you came for! You have a choice of three unique golf courses to choose from including Gallagher’s Canyon and the Bear and Quail courses of The Okanagan Golf Course. Your tee times are pre-arranged and club rentals are available. At the end of the day you might want to loosen your muscles and use your Spa Credit at your resort hotel.

Gallagher’s Canyon Golf and Country Club
Rated as one of the best in the country, Gallagher’s Canyon Golf and Country Club is a spectacular 72 par, 18-hole championship course full of challenging fairways, well manicured greens and awe inspiring views. You’ll marvel at the scenery as you play through tall groves of Ponderosa Pines and along the very edge of the canyon.
The Okanagan Golf Club – Bear
The Bear Course at the Okanagan Golf Club was designed to ignite your passion for golf. Created by Nicklaus Designs, this 6900 yard masterpiece has dramatic sculptured fairways surrounded by the forests and sage brush hills of the sun-drenched Okanagan
The Okanagan Golf Club – Quail
Another great course designed by renowned golf architect Les Fuber. This par 72 championship course features dramatic elevations and breathtaking views as 6,891 yards of multi-tiered fairways meander around a natural bluff.

Day 4 – Kelowna Golfing / Kelowna to Osoyoos
After a final morning of golf in the Kelowna area, enjoy a 3-4 hour drive south to the desert climate of Osoyoos. You will be traveling along the shores of beautiful Lake Okanagan as you head south. Take some time to stop and sample some of the many fine wines that are produced in this area. This is also the heart of the fruit growing area of Western Canada. Fresh apples, peaches, pears, cherries and apricots can be purchased at any of the roadside stands. Along the way you might want to stop and enjoy the unique communities of Summerland, Peachland, Penticton and Oliver. Your resting spot for the next three nights is a luxurious resort perched on the benchland overlooking Lake Osoyoos.

Days 5 & 6 – Osoyoos Golfing
You are golfing in the only official Desert area in Canada. This is the northern extension of the Sonoma Desert. The air is dry and the temperature is hot. Osoyoos is nestled along the clear lake of the same name and reflects a resort-like atmosphere. You can choose to golf at two of three championship courses including The Osoyoos Golf and Country Club, The Fairview Golf and Country Club and the Nk’Mip Canyon Desert Golf Course. At the end of the day enjoy a dinner and sample the Nk’Mip winery using your Resort Credit.

Fairview Mountain Golf and Country Club
Located about 20 minutes from your hotel, the Fairview Mountain Golf and Country Club is consistently amongst the top 20 golf courses in Canada. The well established greens and challenging fairways wind their way along the mountainside overlooking orchards, vineyards and spectacular Osoyoos Lake. At the end of the game, relax and enjoy a local beer or glass of wine in the luxurious clubhouse.
Osoyoos Golf and Country Club
The Osoyoos Golf and Country Club brings together ideal desert climate and picturesque surroundings. Perched high above the city of Osoyoos, vistas of mountains, lake, desert, and valley surround two 18-hole championship layouts which offer all golfers a unique golfing experience. Choose the 6500 yard, par 71 Desert Gold Course with its four distinct tee decks situated on a desert bench or the 6200 yard Park Meadow Course with its rolling hilled fairways and graceful sheltering willow trees.
Nk’Mip Canyon Desert Golf Club
Owned and operated by the Osoyoos Indian Band, the Nk’Mip desert canyon course is a championship 18-hole experience which combines a blend of natural contrasts into two distinctive challenges. The Desert Canyon Nine throws a lot of different challenges and natural desert elements at the golfer while the Grove Nine’s verdant fairways and greens are more laid back and relaxing. All in all the play through spectacular vineyards, sage valleys and massive stone vistas will be challenging, fun and satisfying.

Day 7 – Osoyoos to Sun Peaks
Today is a good day to take a break from Golf and enjoy the incredible scenery of the interior of BC. Travel north along the shores of Okanagan Lake and then head west along the Okanagan Connector Highway towards the town of Merritt. Take a break here and enjoy the western murals and historic sites of this interesting town. The rest of your journey will be northward through the grazing lands of some of Canada’s largest cattle ranches. When you reach the bustling interior city of Kamloops you are only 60 minutes from your destination, the newly completed resort community of Sun Peaks.

Day 8 – Golf at Sun Peaks Resort Golf Course
Golf or relax at your leisure today. The Sun Peaks Resort Golf Course is one of the newest and most interesting courses in BC. Visitors and locals alike enjoy the challenge of the Graham Cooke designed 630 yard course which encompasses the raising and falling landscape of nearby McGillivary Creek. With an altitude of 4,000 feet the golf experience will be exciting and the viewing will be superb as you play through the thick pine and spruce forest valley which is home to alpine flowers, shrubs and a fine assortment of wildlife. In the evening, enjoy the restaurants and pubs of this cleverly planned alpine retreat.

Day 9 – Sun Peaks to Kelowna / Golf at the Dunes Golf Course at Kamloops Golf Club
This morning, depart from Sun Peaks and make your way to one of the finest golf courses in British Columbia. The Dunes is truly nature’s golf course. Lush fairways carved through the sand that was once the riverbed of the Thompson River. Measuring 7100 yards and offering 4 different sets of tees, the Dunes is fun and challenging for amateurs yet a formidable test of golf for experts.
Later in the day continue your journey with a 2 hour drive back to your starting spot, the beautiful lakeside resort of Kelowna. Tonight enjoy a fine dinner and a bottle of local wine as you recount your golf experience in British Columbia’s beautiful Thompson/Okanagan region.
