Day 1 - Arrive Vancouver / Chef's Table Dinner
Welcome to Vancouver. When your arrive at the Vancouver International Airport you will be met by a driver with a private limousine who will transport you to the Four Seasons Vancouver Hotel, one of Vancouver's top luxury hotels, for check-in. The remainder of the day is at leisure.
Vancouver is a city renowned for its fine international dining. This evening you will get a chance to experience one of the finest gourmet presentations in the city when you dine at "Diva at the Met." Located across the street from your hotel the Diva is an experience of intimate luxury. The six-course epicurean experience will be personally presented by the Chef. He will explain the preparation and cooking process for each course and present appropriate wine parings of both local and imported wines.

Day 2 - Whistler Mountaineer™ Glacier Dome - Vancouver to Whistler
This morning transfer from your hotel to the Whistler Mountain Train Station in North Vancouver aboard the Rocky Mountaineer® motor coach shuttle. Day 4 - Rocky Mountaineer GoldLeaf Service®- Quesnel to Jasper
Your journey continues eastward today to the majestic Canadian Rockies and Jasper National Park. From Quesnel the Rocky Mountaineer® follows the Fraser River north to the town of Prince George and then travels east through the forests of Northern British Columbia, home to plentiful wildlife including a large population of moose. Entering the Rocky Mountain Trench you are surrounded to the north by the steeply rising Rocky Mountains and to the south by the Cariboo Mountains. Continue climbing past Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies at 3,954 metres (12,972 feet), and through the Yellowhead Pass into the province of Alberta. You will arrive in the mountain resort town of Jasper in the evening. Upon arrival, you will be met by your driver and private luxury SUV and be transferred to the Jasper Park Lodge Hotel for check-in.

Day 5 - Jasper to Banff Private Tour / Columbia Icefields Ice Explorer
Today your driver will take you on one of the most spectacular roads in North America. Travel from Jasper through the "heart" of the Canadian Rockies to Banff along the Icefields Parkway. You will be inspired by rushing waterfalls, crystal-clear rivers, emerald lakes, alpine meadows and snow-capped peaks that create an ever-changing montage of mountain wilderness. The tour along the Icefields Parkway takes you through Jasper and Banff National Parks, stopping at the Columbia Icefield. Included in your package is the "Ice Age Adventure", a tour onto the icy slopes of the Athabasca Glacier. You will travel in a specially designed Ice Explorer to the middle of the glacier, on a 5-kilometre round- trip journey. Your driver-guide will explain how glaciers are formed and point out interesting geological features as you travel in comfort and safety. The trip affords many opportunities to see mountain wildlife and photograph the spectacular views. Arrive in Banff in the late afternoon and check-in at the world famous Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel.

Day 7 - Rocky Mountaineer GoldLeaf Service ® - Kamloops to Vancouver
Early this morning, depart for your second day aboard Rail Mountaineer. Continue your journey westwards from Kamloops and travel along the Thompson River to the Fraser Canyon. At Hell's Gate watch water torrent past the canyon walls at its narrowest point, a true highlight of the canyon. Upon leaving this region, the train will journey through the fertile Fraser Valley to the coastal city of Vancouver. When you arrive at the Vancouver Train Station, you will be met by your driver and be transferred by private limousine to the Fairmont Waterfront Hotel where you will check into your exclusive Gold Level room.

Day 9 - Vancouver at Leisure / Depart Vancouver aboard Regent Seven Seas Mariner
Take some time to enjoy this beautiful city before boarding the Seven Seas Mariner this afternoon. From the comfort of your luxury cabin, or from the protected open decks, enjoy the spectacular skyline of Vancouver as the Mariner slowly slips under the Lions Gate Bridge and heads northbound for the spectacular sights of the inside passage and glacier clad shores of South central Alaska.

Day 10 – Cruising the Inside Passage
Today is a relaxing day at Sea. Our journey will take us along the shores of Vancouver Island and into the protected waters of the Inside Passage. We’ll pass the resort city of Campbell River and the First Nations village at Alert Bay. Our slow glide through the Inside Passage reveals a pristine and remote shoreline that is rich with wildlife, cascading waterfalls and soaring eagles.

Day 11 – Ketchikan
Our ship will dock in Ketchikan early this morning. We are in the heart of the Tlingit Indian culture and Tongrass National Forest. View the world’s largest collection of totem poles and stroll the boardwalk of Ketchikan’s once famous red light district. For some additional excitement take and optional tour to the Saxman native village, a flight seeing tour of the nearby fjords or sample the local shops and cuisine.

Day 12 - Tracy Arm/Juneau
Juneau is the capital of the state of Alaska. Although it’s livelihood for many years was the famous A-J mine, Juneau is now a bustling community supported by government workers and tourism. While you are here you might want to take a short tour and walk on the massive Juneau Glacier or ride on a dogsled. If you aren’t that energetic, stay in town and enjoy the shops and restaurants where you can sample some freshly smoked Alaska salmon.

Day 13 – Skagway
Skagway was the gateway to the Klondike Gold Rush in Canada’s Yukon Territories in 1898. As you walk the wooden boardwalks of town try to imagine thousands of gold seekers assembling a ton of supplies to carry by pack horse along the dangerous Trail of ’98. Skagway has many enticing attractions in the city including museums, shops and gold rush theme bars. You might want to take an excursion on the famous White Pass & Yukon narrow-gauge railroad of visit an authentic Gold Rush Camp.

Day 14 – Sitka
Sitka is the oldest non-native settlement in Southeast Alaska. Enjoy the guided walk through Sitka’s National Historic Park and view the towering totem poles.

Day 15 - Hubbard Glacier
This natural ice queen rises 300-400 feet upward to hold court over Disenchantment Bay. The glowing blueness scattered over the surface of North America's largest tidewater glacier reveals the telltale signs of active ice. Always on the move, it is perhaps most famous for the 1986 dance step that sealed off the entrance to Russell Fjord, creating an inland lake and stranding marine creatures. Fortunately, the glacier retreated. Constantly crackling and rumbling, ice breaking off the glacier mass makes it seem a live creature giving birth to a court of baby icebergs ranging in size from watermelons to three-story tall buildings.

Day 16 - Seward/Anchorage
Anchorage (Seward) is the largest commercial port in Alaska and ice-free all year round. Upon arrival you will be transferred to the airport or your Anchorage hotel.
