Day 1 – Vancouver to Williams Lake
Your journey on the Fraser River starts at the mouth of the river where the Vancouver International Airport is located. A short flight will bring you to the interior town of Williams Lake. Enjoy your evening in this hard working town and prepare for your once-in-a-lifetime river adventure that begins tomorrow morning.

Day 2 – Jetboating - Williams Lake to Xatsull Village
Your river journey starts this morning with a 40-minute scenic drive north of Williams Lake to Soda Creek. Here your guides will load the equipment on the jetboat and give you your safety orientation for the river activities. Today’s journey will take you to “Xatsull” a traditional native teepee village, past the Rudy Johnson Bridge, “Russian Island”, Flat Rock Canyon, and Soda Creek Canyon. Along the way you will have the opportunity to try the traditional dip-net fishing of the First Nations. Tonight you will camp on the banks of the mighty Fraser and enjoy a great dinner and wine by the campfire. (Lunch, Dinner)

Day 3 – Jetboating
This morning your guides will prepare a hearty Chilcotin breakfast while you wake up to the smells and sound s of the Fraser River, wild plants and big brush sage. Today you will cruise into some canyon scenery, keeping an eye open for eagles and big horn sheep. You’ll stop to explore ancient petroglyphs and enjoy historical tales by you First Nations guide. Later in the day you will come to the confluence of the Fraser and Chilcotin Rivers and make a special excursion to the grasslands, located on the nearby plateau, home too many animals and plants of interest. Our campsite for the night will be near the Cathedrals. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

Day 4 - Relax by the River
Today is a day to relax by the river and participate in all (or none) of the events that have been planned including a hike to the Cathedrals (a colossal wall of rock pillars formed over 200 million years ago), a boat trip to explore the canyon for Wild Big Horn Sheep or a fishing trip with a native guide seeking the elusive prehistoric sturgeon. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

Day 5 - Jetboating
After a hearty riverside breakfast you will get back on the river for another day of scenic adventure. Today you will pass through several beautiful canyons including French Bar Canyon, Big Bar Canyon, and Chisholm Canyon. Along the way you will enjoy the history of the famous 1800’s gold rush and explore the ancient First Nations fishing sites and villages. Your campsite for the night will be at Leon Creek. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

Day 6 – Jetboating to Lillooet
This is your last day on the river and marks the end of your great journey. This is also a fun day as you will run several exciting rapids through the Moran Canyon. Your journey ends when you arrive in the little town of Lillooet. This was the jumping-off point for thousands of gold miners and later became known as Mile 0 for the great Gold Rush Trail. Tonight you will enjoy a hotel bed and the ambiance of this historic town. Take some time to visit the old bridge, first nations fishing sites and unique museums. (Breakfast & Lunch)

Day 7 – Return to Vancouver
Today marks the end of your Rivermania adventure with your transfer to Williams Lake and your return flight to Vancouver.
