Day 1 - Arrive Toronto
Upon arrival at the Toronto International Airport, transfer by private sedan to your downtown hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure for you to enjoy this beautiful city.

Day 2 - Hop On/Hop Off City Tour & Toronto City Pass
Explore Toronto aboard the fully narrated Hop-on Hop-off City Tour on a London-style Double Decker or Turn of the Century Trolley. Tour officially starts in front of Nicholby's on the corner of York and Front streets; however, one can hop on at any of over 20 stops, located throughout the city. You will have a Toronto CityPass that will get you into 6 of Toronto's Top Attractions including Ontario Science Centre, CN Tower, Toronto Zoo, Royal Ontario Museum, Hockey Hall of Fame, & Casa Loma. (Ticket book is valid for 9 days from first use)
Note: The Hop On/Hop Off City Tour visits all of the Toronto City Pass attractions except for the Ontario Science Centre & Toronto Zoo. These two attractions can be reached via regular scheduled transit service or taxi.

Day 3 - Ontario Northlander - Toronto to Cochrane
This morning you will transfer (on own) to the Toronto Train Station where you will board the Ontario Northlander for your full day rail journey to Cochrane, home of the Polar Bear Express. At Cochrane Train Station, you will check-in to your hotel, located at the train station.

Day 4 - Polar Bear Express – round trip to Moosonee
This morning enjoy breakfast at your hotel before boarding the Polar Bear Express for a day-long excursion that will take you 186 miles to the edge of the Arctic. You will travel through some of the most intriguing and culturally significant areas in Ontario. Explore a new frontier, blaze new trains and experience magnificent, unspoiled wilderness. Imagine for a moment how it must have been for the early explorers over 300 years ago who blazed their trails with canoes, determination and brute manpower. Along the way you'll witness the majestic Abitibi River, the main fur trade route of days gone by and enjoyed today by modern day adventurers. Arrive in Moosonee in the early afternoon; discover the area with a walking tour map. You can visit the Water Tower, the Railway Car Museum and the Ministry of Natural Resources Interpretive Centre, which features fascinating videos and displays of wildlife, geological and geographical highlights of the region.
You may wish to transfer to the wharf for an optional 20 minute cruise aboard the Polar Princess to historic Moose Factory Island. Once there, take an optional tour of the Island's key attractions before returning to Moosonee and the railway station in time to re-board the Polar Bear Express and return to Cochrane. Dinner will be served in the dining car and live entertainment can be enjoyed in the entertainment car prior to your arrival in Cochrane.

Day 5 - Polar Bear Habitat & Heritage Village
This morning enjoy breakfast at your hotel before beginning your tour. A guided tour of the Arts, Culture & Polar Bears awaits you. Your tour will highlight the town of Cochrane and visit the Ehkwateh Art Gallery, the largest native art gallery in Northern Ontario. Enjoy a traditional Aboriginal lunch before viewing the Polar Bears in their natural habitat at the Cochrane Polar Bear Conservation & Educational Habitat & Heritage Village. You are able to view the bears as they become rehabilitated in their five-acre natural enclosures through play, enrichment, and the ability to make choices in their daily lives. Feedings are scheduled throughout the day to allow visitors the opportunity to see the bears eat. If you are looking for a closer encounter with these majestic animals, we suggest you 'swim with the bears'. The Habitat offers a wading pool for children and the young at heart where they can swim right next to a polar bear. Oh...did we mention that there is a huge, thick, very sturdy window between you and the polar bears! After visiting the bears, move into the Hunta Museum Heritage Village. The Hunta Museum exhibits life in 'Days Gone By'. There are demonstrations at the old gas station, antique sled museum, working farm and general store.

Day 6 - Ontario Northlander - Cochrane to Toronto
This morning enjoy breakfast at your hotel before you re-board the Ontario Northlander for your full day rail journey back to Toronto. Treat yourself to a snack, a movie or a drink in the comfort of the dining car. Upon arrival at the Toronto Train Station, you will transfer (on own) to your hotel.
