Day 1 - Arrive Vancouver / Chef's Table Dinner
Upon arrival at the Vancouver International Airport you will be transferred by private sedan to your downtown hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure.
This evening you will enjoy dinner at Diva at the Met, located a couple of block from your hotel. Tonight you will experience a 6 course Chef's Table dining experience. The Chef will personally present each dish with a brief presentation & wine pairing for every course.

Day 2 - Rocky Mountaineer® - Vancouver to Kamloops
Early today, a private sedan will transfer you from your hotel to the Pacific Central train station. For the next two days, you will be experiencing the 'Most Spectacular Train Trip in the World !'® aboard Rocky Mountaineer®. The trip today will take you through the fertile fields of the Fraser Valley, then up the rugged Fraser Canyon. Once you reach Lytton, the train will follow the stark, arid beauty of the Thompson River where whitewater rafters challenge the rapids as they navigate the river. Your journey today ends in Kamloops. You will be transferred to a comfortable hotel. Hotel selection will be made by the train company.

Day 3 - Rocky Mountaineer® - Kamloops to Banff
You will depart early this morning for your second day aboard Rocky Mountaineer®. Soon after departing Kamloops, you will pass the Shuswap Lakes area, Revelstoke and then on to Rogers Pass and Glacier National Park. As you approach the Alberta border and the Canadian Rockies, the train will enter the unique Spiral Tunnels that climb through Cathedral Mountain and Mount Ogden. Your journey ends in the mountain resort town of Banff. Upon arrival, you will transfer by private sedan to your hotel.

Day 4 - Banff & Lake Louise Private Tour / Helicopter Tour with Gourmet Picnic Lunch / Wine & Cheese Reception
This morning you will be met by your private sedan for a personal tour of the Banff & Lake Louise region before traveling to Calgary. Visit the Banff Gondola, where you will take a spectacular 8-minute gondola ride (included) to the summit of Sulphur Mountain. From this vantage point at the summit, you will enjoy amazing panoramic views of Banff town site and the surrounding peaks of the Bow Valley.
Your driver will offer suggestions of places to visit, including Hole-in-the-Wall, Johnston Canyon, and Castle Mountain.
Included in your tour is a 25-minute helicopter sightseeing flight over the Wilson Icefield. This spectacular flight will allow you to discover not only 6 glaciers but also the Wilson Icefield where you will be able to see down into the many crevasses of the deep blue crowfoot at its base. From above the Wilson Icefield, at 10,500 feet, you will view glaciers and icefields as far as the eye can see! Your pilot will make a landing and you will have time to go for a leisurely walk with your pilot in the high alpine. A walk never to be forgotten! Enjoy a mountaintop picnic in the high alpine. The picnic includes a deluxe sandwich (meat eater or vegetarian - let us know) along with an appetizer tray and dessert. After your tour, you will continue your journey to Calgary.
Upon arrival in Calgary you will check into the landmark Fairmont Palliser Hotel. This evening join the Royal Canadian Pacific Management Team for a private wine and cheese reception, followed by dinner in the Rimrock Dining Room.

Day 5 - Depart on the Royal Canadian Pacific Luxury Train / Banff Tour
After breakfast, the train travels west through the Canadian Rockies. Stop in Banff for a guided tour of local historic sites. Next, travel to Lake Louise for an interpretive hike with a resident naturalist. The train continues west across the Continental Divide, through the famous Spiral Tunnels to Field, then along the Kicking Horse River Valley. At Golden, you overnight alongside the Columbia River.

Day 6 - Royal Canadian Pacific Luxury Train / Private tour of Canadian Museum of Rail Travel
A luxury motor coach whisks you to Kicking Horse Gondola for breakfast in the Eagle Eye's Restaurant and a 360-degree view of the stunning Rocky Mountains. After breakfast, the train heads south through the Columbia River Valley to Cranbrook, for a private tour of the Canadian Museum of Rail Travel. That evening, enjoy a gourmet dinner and overnight stay at Summit Lake on the Continental Divide.

Day 7 - Royal Canadian Pacific Luxury Train / Visit Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump
The journey continues with a gentle descent to the Alberta prairies. Visit Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Return to the train at Lethbridge for a breathtaking crossing of the High Level Bridge. Overnight at serene Eltham, in the heart of the Alberta prairies.

Day 8 - Royal Canadian Pacific Luxury Train / Ranch Tour & Steak Pit Lunch
A Leisurely train journey takes you to Okotoks where a luxury motor coach transfers you to Homeplace Ranch, family-operated since 1912 and located in the high cattle country. Enjoy a guided tour of the ranch and a steak pit lunch. Return to the train for the final leg of the excursion, reaching Calgary by mid-afternoon. Check into the Fairmont Palliser Hotel and enjoy a farewell dinner.

Day 9 - Depart Calgary
After breakfast and check-out, a chauffeur returns you to the Calgary International Airport.
