Day 2 - Kings Landing Historical Settlement
Today visit Kings Landing Historical Settlement
located just 20 minutes from downtown. This 121-hectare
(300-acre) outdoor living history museum - nestled in a
majestic setting in the St. John River valley, Kings Landing
Historical Settlement depicts the one hundred year
transformation of a young colony into a vibrant nation. Listen
for creaking wagons pulled by trotting work horses, the
whooshing of hoop skirts, and the distant melodies from lively
fiddlers and dancing townsfolk. Witness the bustle of farm
life, and learn first hand how ordinary people lived and
worked in the 19th century. An epic story that's
more than just history, it's history, well told.
You will find over 70 historic buildings, complete with
artifacts, furniture, tools and equipment. The history is
real, the stories you hear are true. Staff are thoroughly
trained and immersed in the 19th century to provide
you, the visitor, with an authentic visit to New Brunswick in
the 1800s.
Other city highlights include the Beaverbrook Art Gallery, home to one of Salvador Dali's most famous masterpieces, Christ Church Cathedral, Old
Government House and The Historic Garrison District.

Day 3 - Lobster
Tales Tour
This morning you will take a
scenic 2 hour drive to the eastern coast of the province to Shediac, known as the
Lobster Capital of the World and home to the finest saltwater beaches in eastern
Canada. This morning you will cruise
into complete lobster discovery! Let experienced fishers put you into the
action. Haul in real lobster traps, learn about the lobster, the fishery, the
proper way to cook, observe a cracking demonstration, and finally,
savour a freshly cooked mouth-watering lobster lunch on board. Sit back,
relax and enjoy the seascape with a cool refreshment
by your side and our down home Acadian hospitality.
After your tour, drive back to Fredericton for your last night.
Note: Lobster Tales Tour is available from Mid June to Mid
September. If travelling outside these dates, the tour will be removed from your
package.

Day 4 - Depart
Fredericton
Your
Fredericton vacation comes to an end. Transfer back to
the airport to drop off your car rental and board your return
flight home.
