This exciting rail tour combines the two different Rocky Mountaineer® train routes through British Columbia and Alberta. Your vacation begins in Vancouver, followed by a spectacular 2 day all daylight rail trip, ending in the mountain village of Banff. While in the Rockies you will enjoy a private sedan tour of Banff and Lake Louise, take a helicopter flight of Wilson Icefield including a landing and gourmet picnic lunch and travel along the famous Columbia Icefields Parkway, to Jasper. Then ride on the Ice Explorer onto the icy slopes of the Athabasca Glacier. Return to Vancouver aboard the Rocky Mountaineer® Canadian National route that departs from Jasper. Once back on the west coast, you will travel to Victoria to experience the world famous Butchart Gardens. Take a tour to see the whales that journey off the western coast of Canada. You will have the opportunity to see the vast wilderness of the west, as well as the towns and cities that make this country so diverse.
