Day 1 – Sail from Seattle
Arrive in Seattle and take some time to enjoy this thriving metropolis. Visit the Space Needle for a spectacular panoramic view of the city and Puget Sound. Watch the fish “fly” in Pike Place Market, visit the Seattle Art Museum or experience some of the landmark shops in the downtown area.
This afternoon, meet at the Westin Hotel for a transfer to your ship. Settle into your comfortable stateroom then step out on deck as you cruise through the Hiram M Chittenden Locks to Elliott Bay. Enjoy your first dinner onboard as the spectacular Seattle skyline slowly slides past.

Day 2 – Arrive in Vancouver
This morning dock in the vibrant, cosmopolitan city of Vancouver, British Columbia. After customs and immigration clearance, the morning starts with an included tour of Stanley Park, the thrilling Capilano Suspension Bridge and a short tour of Vancouver’s North Shore. After lunch on the ship you will have a few hours to explore the shops, and historic areas of the city. Later in the afternoon, the ship sails under the Lions Gate Bridge, through Howe Sound and north into the Canadian wilderness.

Day 3 – Exploration Cruising – Desolation Sound
This is wilderness cruising at its best, in waters usually only accessible by private yacht. The Sunshine Coast and Desolation Sound are one of the premier cruising playgrounds in the world. Snowcapped peaks of the Coastal Mountains soar to heights of 7,800 ft framing over 60 miles of breathtaking coastline, intricate waterways, small islands and intriguing coves and bays. The area is teaming with wildlife including eagles, bears, deer and pods of killer whales. Weather permitting you’ll get a chance to investigate some of the more interesting nooks and crannies from the small inflatable craft that are a park of the “up close and personal” experience.

Day 4 – Nanaimo, Gulf Islands
Located midway down the east coast of 390 mile long Vancouver Island, the city of Nanaimo is surrounded by astonishing views. A cannon booms from the Bastion, an 1853 Hudson’s Bay Company fort. Your welcome may include a greeting from a member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police resplendent in their red surge uniform. Enjoy a leisurely walking tour of this historic city before boarding the ship for lunch and an afternoon cruise in the remote waterways of the Gulf Islands.

Day 5 – Butchart Gardens – Victoria
A full day will be spent docked on the beautiful waterfront of Victoria’s harbor. Victoria’s mild climate makes it a delight to visit year round. Known as the “Garden City” and home of the world famous Butchart Gardens, Victoria also offers a myriad of shops, quaint boutiques, historic collections, and the classic Royal Victoria Museum all within walking distance of the ship. Take some time to enjoy High Tea in the Empress Hotel or stroll the grounds of the nearby Parliament buildings.

Day 6 – Friday Harbour / San Juan Islands Morning Cruising
The waters of Washington States beautiful San Juan Islands have been luring sailors for decades and many of the islands are coveted retreats for the city dwellers of the Pacific Northwest. This is a morning of up-close exploration in search of elusive wildlife and “gunkholing” - traveling around the next bend just to see what’s there. You’ll dock at Friday Harbour and take a tour of this charming island including the local art galleries and boutiques. Afternoon will find us cruising through San Juan Channel on our way to Orcas Island and the famous Rosario Resort where you will enjoy an exclusive after dinner concert on a soul-stirring Aeolian pipe organ.

Day 7 – Port Townsend
Located on the spectacular Olympic Peninsula, Port Townsend is listed on the National Historic Register as one of only 3 Victorian seaports on the entire US coastline. Enjoy the walking tour of this wonderful arts community and spend some time exploring the galleries, shops and museums of this historic and scenic town. The afternoon is free to explore or to relax in a deckchair and enjoy the final day of this wonderful voyage.

Day 8 – Disembark in Seattle
This morning, the ship will arrive in Seattle where you will disembark for your return journey home.
