Day 2 - St Pierre & Miquelon, France
This is your chance to visit a tiny piece of Europe without crossing the Atlantic Ocean. Saint-Pierre & Miquelon is France’s oldest remaining overseas territory. As well, it is France’s closest and smallest territory. Explore this lovely and charming French fishing community. The spring migration of whales to Greenland takes place just off the shores of the islands and wildlife is abundant everywhere.

Day 3 - Port aux Basques and Cordroy, Newfoundland
Port aux Basques is known as the Gateway to Newfoundland. It has a rich history as a fishing station for the French, Portuguese and Basques as early as the 16th century. Nearby in the Cordroy Valley, the Grand Cordroy River plays host to the largest variety of birds in Newfoundland. Thousands of migratory birds make their home here during spring and fall migration period.

Day 4 – Gaspé, Quebec
The deepwater port of Gaspé is notable for having been the first stop of Jacques Cartier in 1534, to claim the land for France. That is why Gaspé is called “The Birthplace of Canada”. The town is located on the second largest natural bay in the world which is fed by three of the most productive salmon rivers in Quebec. Gaspé is also known for its wonderful beaches and Forillon National Park.

Day 5 - Rimouski, Quebec
Rimouski is rich in cultural life and an integral part of the cultural history of Quebec. Each year the city hosts the Festival Jazz International de Rimouski where icons of the jazz world like Dizzy Gillespie and Stephan Grappelli perform. It also hosts an international Children’s Film Festival. Rimouski has a seafaring heritage that is recreated in the Musée de la Mer (Museum of the Sea) and commemorates the Empress of Ireland disaster, most deadly shipwreck after the Titanic.

Day 6 & 7 - Saguenay Fjord, Quebec
Cruising on the St. Lawrence River is an incredible experience. The river is so large that sometimes it is not possible to see both shores. It is the chief source of commercial movement for 5 provinces and a dozen States. It is also the most historic waterway in Canada. Along its shores are many treats, including the world famous Saguenay Fjord. Here, where the St Lawrence and Saguenay Rivers meet is one of the most popular whale watching spots in Canada. The estuary supports a colony of over 1000 whales of every species. The community of Tadoussac is famous for its scenic and natural attractions as it welcomes ships to the majestic fjord.

Day 8 - Quebec City, Quebec
Early this morning your adventure in Luxury Cruising comes to and end as you dock in Quebec City harbour.
