Day 1 - Calgary
Today, upon arrival at the Calgary Airport, pick up your rental car and drive to your downtown hotel. To start your vacation, take a ride up the Calgary Tower, which is also located in downtown Calgary.

Day 2 - Calgary to Waterton
The 3.5 hour drive from Calgary takes you to southern Alberta to Waterton National Park, called an International Peace Park because it is the same park as Glacier National Park on the US side of the border. This quaint town is located right on Waterton lake, offering fantastic views and easy access to the water.

Day 3 – Waterton Exploring
The day is free to explore this area on your own. You may wish to rent a canoe on Cameron Lake or drive to Glacier National Park in the United States, to travel the Going to the Sun Road. It is possible to travel the length of this famous road and then return to Waterton in the evening. Included is a boat cruise on Waterton Lake.
Note: Please note that if you intend to cross the Canada/US border, you must present a valid passport and visa (if applicable) as this is an international border crossing.

Day 4 - Waterton to Banff
A scenic drive into the mountains awaits today. Travelling northeast over the Highwood Pass and by Peter Lougheed Provincial Park, you’ll witness the transition in the landscape from prairies to foothills to majestic Rocky Mountains.

Day 5 – Banff Exploring
Explore the town of Banff on your own and be sure to make stops at the Banff Gondola for a ride up Sulphur Mountain, the Upper Hot Springs for a relaxing soak in the mineral pool and stop in a the Cave & Basin National Historic Site (all are included).

Day 6 - Banff to Columbia Icefield
Today, journey north today along the famous Icefields Parkway, through Jasper and Banff National Parks stopping at the Columbia Icefield. Spend some time at the Columbia Icefield Centre where you can relax over dinner and visit the new and expanded Parks Canada Interpretive Centre. Tonight, enjoy the sunset over the Athabasca Glacier.

Day 7 - Columbia Icefield to Calgary
This morning, allow time for a Brewster “Ice Age Adventure”. Travel in a specially designed Ice Explorer to the middle of the Athabasca Glacier while your driver/guide explains how the glaciers are formed and points out interesting geological features. At the icefall below the glacial headwall, you may step out onto the ice formed from snow falling as many as 400 years ago. Later, make your way back to Calgary via Rocky Mountain House. Stop at the local attractions before arriving into Calgary. Drop your car at the Calgary International Airport.
