Day 1 - Arrive Whitehorse / Aurora Viewing
Upon arrival at the Whitehorse Airport, you will be greeted by your guide and transfer to the River View Hotel in downtown Whitehorse. The River View Hotel is located next to the Yukon River and within walking distance of all attractions, restaurants, banks and stores. At the hotel, you will attend an information meeting and have the opportunity to register for optional tours. After the meeting, you will have your Fitting of winter clothing. You will then have some free time for shopping and dinner on your own. This evening, you will depart at 9:30 pm for your first Aurora viewing. A cozy, heated cabin or wall tent with hot drinks and snacks makes your Aurora viewing even more enjoyable. Return to hotel around 2:00 am.

Day 2 - Whitehorse City Tour / Aurora Viewing
This morning you may wish to sleep in. In the late morning, 10:30 am, you will depart on city tour of Whitehorse. Highlights include Main Street, Train Depot of the White Pass and Yukon Route, Log Skyscraper, Log Church, Sternwheeler SS Klondike, Fish ladder, Schwatka Lake and some residential areas. This afternoon is at leisure and you may wish to book on of the optional tours. This evening, you will depart on your second evening of Aurora viewing. Again, in a warm-up cabin hot drinks and snacks are provided. You may sit around a roaring fire and share stories. Return to hotel around 2:00 am.

Day 3 - Dog Sledding Tour / Aurora Viewing
Today you will drive by van to the dog musher outside the city of Whitehorse. Here you'll learn how to harness the dogs, hitch them to the sled and then ride for a short distance in the basket. The highlight of this excursion will be when you'll run your own dog team for approximately 1 hour. Includes transfers, instruction, use of dogs and sled and hot drinks. This evening, you will depart on your third evening of Aurora viewing. Again, in a warm-up cabin hot drinks and snacks are provided. You may sit around a roaring fire and share stories. Return to hotel around 2:00 am.

Day 4 - Day at Leisure / Aurora Viewing
Today is at leisure to explore Whitehorse on your own or to participate in one of the many optional winter activities available. This evening, you will depart on your last evening of Aurora viewing. Again, in a warm-up cabin hot drinks and snacks are provided. You may sit around a roaring fire and share stories. Return to hotel around 2:00 am.

Optional Tours:
Game Farm & Takhini Hot Springs - From Whitehorse drive approx. 30 km to the Game Farm. Excellent guided tour and great opportunities to view and photograph wildlife in its natural habitat: Dall Sheep, Bighorn Sheep, Mountain Goat, Deer, Elk, Woodland Caribou, Wood Bison, Musk-Ox and Moose may be seen, usually up close! Short drive to Takhini Hot Springs. Relax in the hot water pool and enjoy the winter landscape. Coffee shop and desserts available at the hot springs (not included).
Snowmobile Driving - Today drive to the site and introduction to the safety of driving a snow machine. After instructions and a trial run with your instructor you'll be driving your own machine over prepared trails through the incredible winter landscape of the Yukon. Includes transfers, instruction, the use of a snow machine, snacks and hot drinks.
Ice Fishing & Snowshoeing - After a short drive to a frozen lake you will be taught how to walk on snowshoes. With your fishing equipment you'll walk on to the ice of the lake where you'll fish through a hole in the ice. With some luck you will catch a Lake Trout or Grayling and pull it up through the hole. Includes transfers, snowshoes, angling equipment, instruction on how to use snowshoes and on how to fish, blankets, snack and hot drinks.
One Hour Flightseeing - Enjoy the northern winter wonderland with mountains, lakes and rivers the way birds see it. A unique experience for the adventurous. Includes round-trip transfer from the hotel to the airport and 1 hour flight.
Winter Adventure Package - The ultimate winter experience! Be prepared for an afternoon filled with great activities including: Snow Shoeing, Dog Sledding, Snow Machine and a Surprise Event which will be another entertaining activity like snow tobogganing, inner-tubing or snow-canoeing. Included are transfers, activities and individual instructions, snacks and hot drinks.
Day 5 - Depart Whitehorse
Today your Aurora Borealis adventure comes to an end. You will be transferred to the Whitehorse Airport in time for your homeward or onward flight.
